Children Need Your Help

The Whole Child Manatee needs friends to spread the word and funds to sustain our continued ability to serve the community. Whether you’re an individual, a family, a business or organization, there are several ways you can contribute.

Spread the Word

The Whole Child Manatee has flyers, brochures and other materials that we are happy to provide you to distribute to others via mail, payroll stuffers or simply handing them out. In addition, we welcome opportunities to speak in front of groups, so please invite us to your meetings.

Invest in the Future

We rely on the community to partner with us financially. Please put us on your charity list or simply make an investment in a child’s future. You can donate by calling (941) 749-3059 or mail your check to:

Volunteer

Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA): The Whole Child/Economic Prosperity Program needs caring peple to work directly with hard-working low and moderate income individuals and families to assist them with electronic tax filing; in particular, to help those eligible for Earned Income Tax Credits and Child Tax Credits.
Training is free and provided by an IRS Specialist. Classroom, on-line learning and self-study or a combination of these options are designed to educate and prepare the volunteer for the tax season.
